These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Matei Tudor Dumitru, an individual established in Romania, operating the app under the name "Quantify" ("we", "us"), governing your use of the Quantify mobile app and this website (the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
3. Quantify Pro & subscriptions
- Billing. Quantify Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold as an in-app purchase and billed through your Apple App Store account.
- Renewal. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing & cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We generally cannot issue refunds directly; request them through Apple.
- Free tier. The Service offers free content. Features included in Pro may change over time, but we will not remove access to content you have already paid to unlock during your active subscription term.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or lesson database except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
- Manipulate XP, streaks, or the leaderboard through automated or fraudulent means.
- Use the Service to violate any law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Content & intellectual property
The Service — including all lessons, text, code samples, graphics, the Quantify name, and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own learning. Any profile content you provide (such as your username or photo) remains yours; you grant us the licence needed to display it within the Service.
6. Educational purpose & no financial advice
Quantify is an educational product. Its lessons on markets, trading, options, and quantitative methods are provided for learning only and do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Trading involves risk. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes to the Service & these Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service, and we may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the country where you live.
